On your arrival night we are happy to leave a simple supper in your gites – a salad or quiche perhaps, along with some local cheeses and fruits, so you don’t need to worry if you get here after the local shops have closed.
Our own shop keeps a supply of basic essentials (flour, salt, sugar and Herbes de Provence are available frree of charge - just help yourself from the jars) and a small selection of frozen meals, prepared by us using local produce, along with ice cream, soft drinks, beers and a selection of wines and champagnes. Our free range hens lay plenty of eggs and are also available in the shop. Guests are asked to note down anything they purchase and a final bill will be prepared at the end of your stay.
We bake bread and pastries every morning – just order before bed and we will deliver to your front door straight from the oven.
Right on our doorstep in the village above are two good local restaurants and a tea shop. For an even more local experience, the village garage / shop boasts a simple bar and on Friday nights the famous pizza van puts in an appearance. Walk out behind th Mas and across the garrigue for 40 minutes to the highly recommended Auberge de Gardoise, and walk back along the river valley - a perfect day out. Within a short drive there are several other restaurants and of course Uzes has a wide variety of fantastic places to dine.
We provide two brick built barbecues for guests.
