Set below the ramparts of Lussan, one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, this ancient mas has been sympathetically restored to offer three beautiful self catering gîtes for 2-10 people, set around a Roman style courtyard.
The grounds are extensive, with landscaped gardens, pool, boules court, barbecue terrace, and several acres of fields. From here you can walk straight out into the garrigue beyond. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views or spot the wildlife and with a maximum capacity of just 10 guests there is always a quiet spot to be found.
In the heart of the Gard Provençal we are ideally located to explore all this region has to offer. With easy access to the Cevennes and Ardeche for lovers of outdoor activities, and close to the Mediterranean coast and to the historic towns of Uzès, Avignon, Nimes and Montpellier there’s something for everyone to enjoy. At the end of a day’s exploring, our gardens provide the perfect place to sit back and relax. Enjoy the slower pace of life and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful area.
We aren't a boutique resort, our visitors choose us for the exceptional level of comfort and amenity we provide and an unrivalled level of service, all within a charming traditional French farmhouse setting.
The Mas makes an excellent home for groups of friends or family with several large dining areas, shared spaces and, just as importantly, private spaces to retreat to.
Children over 16 are welcome at the Mas. Younger children accepted when all three gîtes are booked together.
The Gîtes
Every care has been taken to preserve the charm and character of the buildings and each gîte has its own rustic style, with exposed stone walls or vaulted ceilings, ancient beams and terracotta floors.
Comprehensively equipped with everything you could possibly need, the gîtes offer quality beds and linens, fully equipped kitchens, iPads, Bluetooth speakers, Nespresso machines, books and games – everything you are likely to want to make your stay an enjoyable and comfortable one.

GUEST REVIEWS
For five hundred years, and possibly longer, the Mas de la Bousquette has nestled below the village of Lussan. Over the centuries new buildings have been added around a stunning internal courtyard with a Roman-tiled roof, cream stone walls and ancient steps. The old sheepfold, silk farm and granary formed the basis for our three lovely self catering gîtes, restored with care to provide a welcome haven for guests.
Today, the Mas is a family home to us, our children who may occasionally be found visiting, Henry our Cockapoo and a flock of free range rare-breed hens. It is our pleasure to welcome you here to share this peaceful and beautiful place.
